Bapple

Bapple provides graphic design and technical web development services. They specialise in concept development, Flash ActionScript, PHP, XML and Content Management.

I have worked with Bapple on several projects, taking concept images and turning them into W3C compliant XHTML and CSS.

Bapple used me on a time-sensitive project to quickly code PHP for the Healthzone Limited site's Contact form, Membership form and Market Research form. The PHP scripts write to a MySQL database and automatically sends an email to a Healthzone contact.

I also worked with Bapple to develop a newsletter and multimedia administration system for Juice Clothing.

We recently completed an extensive content management system for Emerald City, a digital production and design company. Bapple provided the concept designs and I produced PHP scripts that generate XHTML and CSS, using the MySQL database to store data. This allows Emerald City staff to quickly and easily upload work-in-progress content for their clients.

LaneWorkSafe Pty Ltd

LaneWorkSafe sell quality drug screening equipment and provide policy advice to small business.

I designed and continue to develop their website and provide advice on what content to put online. The website is a major part of marketing their business. The site uses a simple. no-nonsense design suited to thier target audience, which ranges from offices to mining companies.

I wrote their online e-learning tutorial which they use to add value to their products and services, which gives them a unique advantage over their competitors.

The e-learning has two tiers - one for managers and one for employees. Users read some material and then answer a true/false question to proceed. Once the tutorial is complete, a certificate is generated with the user's name and the date.

The e-learning system uses PHP scripts to generate HTML and reads data from a MySQL database.

You can see a simple demonstration of this tutorial by using the online e-learning demonstration.

LaneWorkSafe wanted to provide a detailed Information Package to visitors to their website. They sent me a lengthy Microsoft Word document that I hand-coded into clean HTML that will display correctly in any browser.

LaneWorkSafe is one of my oldest clients. We have worked together for several years and I look forward to working with LaneWorkSafe for many years into the future.

Maria George Sydney

Maria George Sydney is a bead and fashion crafts store in Newtown. They wanted a website to reach a younger market, to display their products online, to provide regular newsletters, and to attract in-store shoppers.

I worked closely with Maria George Sydney to develop their entire site. I organised domain name registration and web hosting and researched competitor's sites.

We worked together to design the site structure, and they provided graphics and the layout. I advised them what sort of content to provide in order to reach a younger customer demographic.

I created clean XHTML and CSS from their concept designs, suggested some usability improvements and used image manipulation applications to optimise their images and photos.

I continue to update their image galleries and newsletter pages, providing an online newsletter and a downloadable, printable PDF version.

Netwerks

Netwerks is a Network Integrator and Internet Service Provider based in Sydney Australia. They provide LAN and WAN computer networking with full Internet services.

One of their clients, Community Solutions, needed some major changes to their website. I converted the site from a table-based layout to W3C compliant XHTML and CSS. This has made the site much easier to update and has the advantage of being much faster to load. I cleaned up the existing design, making the fonts and colour consistent across most of the site.

Promosys

Promosys is a boutique agency that creates fresh and exciting web based solutions. With an emphasis on design and the latest technologies they meet their clients' needs and exceed their expectations.

I provide Promosys with XHTML and CSS development services. They occasionally require HTML email for client's newsletters.

Due to the poor rendering of many email programs, these emails must be written using the older HTML 4.01 standard.

I recently developed the XHTML, CSS and DOM Javascript code for a new CMS of one of their clients, FoodWaterShelter.

The FoodWaterShelter team are in Africa so the CMS hasn't been implemented yet, but you can see the work that I did here.

Promosys are a relatively new client but I look forward to providing them with reliable, high quality services far into the future.
